Thinking about my VSP in terms of Ramage 5's interpretive relationship.
1. "in terms of" something else
My viewers will think about their own child hood crush. How they were very young and did not fully understand what a crush was, but learned the sadness when your feelings are not returned. Stories of child hood love.
2. within a particular genre
This fits into the genre of candid photography. It also fits into the genre of childhood and coming of age along with first love. The genre of subtle romance.
3. in light of personal observation
I know the emotions a girl feels when she has her first crush. A first crush is a very relate able emotional process. It conveys to me hope for human change and how after rejection of love, you grow and work to solve your problems. I have hope that I will find love one day just like the girl in my photos.
5. in the company of others
I want to convey that love is hard but if you follow you heart you will succeed. It is OK to have a crush and it not work out because things may turn around later. A first crush is something that most can relate to. The story will end with the two kids becoming friends after time, then falling in love when they are adults.
